These are uncertain times. Many of us are stuck working from home. Others are having their hours cut or being laid off as some of our local restaurants and retail shops are forced to close their doors. The COVID-19 health crisis is threatening the livelihoods of so many small and independent businesses in our communities, and the many service workers who make the industry go. In an effort to stave off this process while still working to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus, many local food service providers are quickly pivoting to delivery, curbside pickup and other reduced-risk options to help feed our communities and keep the small business network intact.
This site was created by RVWC, an independent Virginia-based wholesaler, to help support our customers and other small and independent businesses, and to help our friends and neighbors to find restaurants, retailers and other food service providers across Virginia, DC and Maryland who may be providing safer alternatives to serve you during critical periods of the coronavirus outbreak.
The site will be updated regularly and we will take steps to ensure content is current and accurate, but the situation is evolving rapidly and nothing listed here can be guaranteed. Please contact the restaurants and shops directly for the most up-to-date information. All services are subject to federal and local laws and regulations.
[UPDATE 6/20] We are no longer accepting submissions as this site will be archived soon to make way for our new site. Stay tuned.
